I feel like everyone is getting a Tumblr now just to say they have one. But they don’t know what its really about - the irreplaceable significance of it. This isn’t Twitter, Facebook, or MySpace. Its not about seeing how many people you can get to follow you - its about having a place to express yourself when no one else is listening, no matter how deep or dark your thoughts and feelings are. They should be safe here, if anywhere.
